Bodywork
Bodywork is our new health and fitness workshop designed to educate around the obesity epidemic and other health related problems, which plague our young people here in Britain. A number of key factors play a role in contributing to this problem:
- Easy access to cheap, calorie-rich, nutrient-poor foods and drinks
- An increasingly sedentary lifestyle, both in parents and children
- An increasing cultural acceptance that being overweight is “normal”
- Living in increasingly obesogenic environments (that encourage obesity)

The facilitators showed the students that can manage their own behaviour and I learnt that as adults we often get involved rather than just allowing a ‘situation’ to play itself out. I would definitely use the team again to work with both students and staff
